Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article 16(d) and (e) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the 14-day withdrawal period and the right to return goods do not apply to items that are liable to deteriorate rapidly, or to items that cannot be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene.
All products sold in this store are edible. As a registered food production business, we are legally obligated—under EU Regulation (EC) No 178/2002 (General Food Law)—to ensure strict traceability and food safety standards throughout our entire supply chain. Once a food product—including our teas, dried citrus fruits, and other edible dried plant-based products—is delivered to the buyer, the chain of food safety control is legally broken.
Because we cannot verify storage conditions, potential exposure to allergens, or adherence to hygiene standards outside of our own premises, we do not accept the return of any food products in cases where the buyer has simply "changed their mind"—regardless of whether the packaging has been opened or remains sealed. This policy is in place for the purpose of protecting public health.
Returning damaged or unsuitable goods
If you receive damaged or incorrect items, please take a photo of the item and send it to our customer support email at [email protected] within 30 days, including your order number.
Processing of the Buyer's Personal Data
The online store processes only the personal data entered by the buyer when placing an order, such as first name, surname, email address, etc.
The online store shares personal data with transport service provider(s) to facilitate the delivery of goods.
If you have explicitly consented to receive our marketing communications—including newsletters—we may occasionally contact you with information regarding our services and latest offers. For this purpose, we may process the email address you provided when signing up for marketing communications. Buyers may opt out of receiving marketing communications by notifying us via email at [email protected].
Dispute resolution procedure
In matters not addressed in these terms and conditions, the Buyer and the Seller agree to comply with the regulatory enactments in force in the Republic of Latvia.
The Parties shall resolve any disputes arising between the Seller and the Buyer through mutual negotiations or correspondence. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations or correspondence, the Parties shall settle it in a court of the Republic of Latvia, in accordance with the regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes between the Buyer (consumer) and the Seller may be referred for resolution to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre or to a court of the Republic of Latvia.
The Buyer also has the right to seek recourse through European Union dispute resolution bodies..
